Short-term Medical plans for individuals:
  • Premiums are often 50% lower than comparable deductible to ACA medical plans.
  • A variety of deductible and coinsurance options to choose from.
  • Elect coverage up to 52-weeks.  Renewable up to three years in many states.
  • National PPO network thru Aetna.

ACA medical plans:
  • New HIGHER subsidies are available.  (American Rescue plan effective March 11th 2021)

  • NAPFA membership is not required for ongoing coverage
  • Medical underwriting is required on some health plans.
  • Alternate funded plans with rates 25% to 35% lower than similar Affordable Care Act (ACA). Minimum group enrollment varies by State.  A minimum of two employees is required but some States have a minimum enrollment requirement. Enrollment count is based on number of Employees + Spouses + Children. Please see the attached map
  • Deductible credit – for same calendar year on group plans.
  • No lifetime maximum benefit on group plans.
  • National PPO network and PPO plans available.
  • H.S.A. compatible group plans are available.
  • Some plans are not available in all States.
  • Short-term Medical plans provide limited benefits and do not provide Minimum Essential Coverage mandated by the Affordable Care Act. ​
